Floor Barre technique not only sculpt and refine the body it is a holistic approach to center the mind and body.
Based on the principles of classical ballet, Floor Barre is a system designed to work for bodies of all ages, athletes, dancers and the general public.
CORRECT BODY ALIGNMENT
It concentrates on the alignment and efficiency of the muscles and allows correction of bad structural habits.
RELEASE TENSION THROUGHOUT THE BODY
It is a gentle and effective method that lengthens and strengthens muscle, releases tension from the neck and joints and promotes correct alignment.
STRENGTHEN MUSCLES AND JOINTS
Using the floor the system is able to correct placement and strengthen muscles and joints without the pressure of gravity.
TONING ABDOMINAL,HIPS AND LEGS
It is also fabulous for re-aligning bodies as it strengthens and properly corrects placement of the pelvis, hips and back, whilst releasing tension throughout the body
REHABILITATES AND PREVENTS INJURIES
Traditionally done by ballet dancers to improve their flexibility, strength, placement, lengthening muscles and to allow them to keep their bodies working throughout periods of injury. Therefore it is extremely safe and low impact.
